Ben and a few guys from our ward did a sprint triathlon in Mesa. I went along as moral support for the group. When we arrived at the location Ben came out and informed me that the ante had just been increased as his brother, Jake, was there to do the same triathlon. Jake's wife, Tiffany, and I both found it pretty funny that Jake and Ben had talked earlier that week and neither one had mentioned to the other that they were going to be doing this triathlon.

| Proof I was there as support. I was trying not to stand too close cause he was kind of sweaty and gross. |

They staggered the starting of all the swimmers so Ben wasn't sure how close his time was to Jake's
For the final time Ben came in at 1:29:52 and Jake came in at 1:29:40. If Ben had only known he would have gone about 13 seconds faster.

It was so fun to go and watch Ben and the other guys race. It was also an unexpected bonus to get to spend some time with Tiff and Jake and their family.

Great race Ben. Good support Teri. Thirteen seconds would have been nice, but just being there with your brother was probably the best part. Good job. Love ya, Mom & Dad
