Standing in front of the statue of Jose Rizal a Philippine national hero, the statue and those you can see in the background portray his death by firing squad. Please note that plaids and stripes do work together as long as there are stripes the same color in the plaid and in the stripes.

Back to School for Me

This time I am the one going back to school.  I am going to Altrain Dental Assisting Academy.  I started on the 7th of September and so far I love it.

Check up

Today I took Gwen for her well-child visit at the Dr. She didn't need any shots, thank goodness, and she did really well.  She is 47 3/4 inches tall and 47 1/2 pounds.  That's the 84% for height and 50th for weight. 

After her appointment she made sure to ask if she got to have a sucker.  That's very important!  She was allowed to choose which flavor she would like and debated this with the following self-discussion. 

"Well, the red is probably strawberry and the blue is probably blueberry.  The orange is orange, and the green... hmmm.... It's probably cucumber.  I'll take red!"
