Christmas Party
This last weekend we had a Christmas party with a group of our friends from church. We had so much fun, eating food, visiting and exchanging really tacky ornaments as a white elephant type exchange. I wish we had gotten a picture of all the ornaments because they really were some of the most awful things I have ever seen. Thanks everyone for making it such a great party.
This is all the ladies that were at our party.

This is a picture of the whole group.

Thanksgiving
This year for Thanksgiving Ben's brother Jake and his wife Tiffany came up from Mesa with their three kids, Haley, Cameron, and Brooklyn. We really enjoyed having them come up. Ben and I made and amazing turkey, which I am perfectly willing to take full credit for because I put it in the oven.

Jared's EEG & Other studies

So, Jared started doing this weird eye-rolling-to-the-side thing a few weeks ago. The Saturday of General Conference to be exact. He was doing it about every 10-15 seconds. Naturally we got very concerned because we didn't know what was causing it. So we took him to the urgent care on Sunday when it did not dissipate. Long story short, the doctor didn't know what was going on and told us to see our pediatrician the next day. He wasn't sure what it was either and ordered a few tests. So Jared had a CT scan with and without contrast. (Not fun he had to get an IV and asked me right before the test if we could please do it another day.) He also had to have a chest x-ray, which wasn't nearly as rough, and he had to have an EEG. That was fun for everybody as he had to go in seriously sleep deprived so he would fall asleep shortly after they got everything stuck to his head. Well, all of the tests came back normal, so we still don't know what is going on, but he isn't doing the eye-rolling thing nearly as often (only about every 5-10 minutes), so we are supposed to wait and see if it continues to be less often and if not then we might have to see a pediatric neurologist. That is the fun we have been having. Thankfully, they did rule out any tumors, aneurysms, lesions of the brain and seizures. We will keep you updated if we find anything else out. Maybe it will just go away and we will never know what caused it.
