Halloween

This year Ben was in the Philippines for Halloween so we had to celebrate without him.  Our friend, Courtney came over and carved pumpkins with us.

Here we are all dressed up for the trunk or treat our church did the Saturday before Halloween. Just for the record, Nate is standing on his toes.  He is not taller than me yet.

On Halloween night we stayed home and had a party.  We watched "Arsenic and Old Lace" and had a fun Halloween dinner.

Moldy bones with blood to dip them in, and bloody guts.

Mummy meatloaf

Rotten apple cider

And for dessert, eyeballs on forks.

Halloween has never been one of my favorite holidays, but I had a lot of fun with the kids, and I enjoyed making lots of "gross" food for them to eat.

Don't know how we didn't see this before now. That is absolutely fun. I agree with your thoughts on Halloween but what a fun time for you and the kids. Love Y'all, Mom & Dad
