Last Wednesday when I came home from work and from picking up Jared and Gwen our front door looked like this.
Someone kicked in our front door and totally messed up our bedroom looking for money(I did not get a picture of the bedroom, however the police did). Well, we don't keep loads of cash in our house so they ended up taking only about $40 in cash. They also took about 30 DVDs and Ben's passport. Thankfully they did not take anything else.

Good thing you weren't actually home. I've never had an experience like that, but it doesn't keep me from worrying.
I agree with heather, I am so glad you weren't home. I am also so sorry it happened to you. Even if they didn't get very much, it still sucks and is pretty unnerving. I hope they catch the guy! Are you doing ok? You're lucky your tv and computer are still there!
This just makes me sick to my stomach. I hope things are settling down for you.
That is stinking Scary!!! I too am glad you weren't home when that invasion happened.
