Preschool

Showing off the new back pack.

Gwen started preschool on August 25th. She was very excited about being able to go to school like the older kids. The teacher gave us all a little poem about how she would take good care of our kids and love them like her own and that the tears (of the parents) wouldn't last long. I felt a little hard-hearted because I just sent her on her way and she was happy and I was happy.

Sitting at her desk at school, obviously devastated that I am leaving her.

Yes, I love preschool.

I had the same experience with Beckham. He was happy, and I was happy. Better that then a whole lot of tears and boogers don't you think?

BTW, Gwen is totally a mini-You!!! How FUN!!!!

It's kinda bitter-sweet when they're big enough that they don't need you, but they're big enough that they don't need you. You know what I mean? Oh, and Gwen really is a mini-you. She's so cute!!

Oh I definately cried when sarah finally left to kindergarten....Tears of Joy!!! You love them to death but after how many years of taking care of
babies it is nice to have a little time to just take care of you. Who knew that going to the bathroom all by yourself without anyone banging on the door could be such a luxury!!!
